Board Game News Collider - Dungeons and Dragons Video Game Dark Alliance Play Starfinder RPG with Amazon Alexa

I suppose it makes sense that as we approach the shortest day of the year that the world of board gaming news would slow down.  Let’s face it, we’re all winding down now anyway (or wish we were) and we’re getting ready to kick back and play board games over a nice long Christmas break.

With that being said, it’s not a complete stop, there are a couple of nuggets of news stories worthy of your time and attention before we send the ferrets off until the new year.

Board Game News Collider - Starfinder RPG with Amazon Alexa Skills

A few weeks ago it was announced that Amazon’s Alexa is coming to Ticket to Ride <http://www.polyhedroncollider.com/2019/11/news-collider-board-game-news-19th.html>, now  Paizo Publishing has joined the fray with the world’s first-ever voice-guided role-playing adventure.  Starfinder: Scoundrels in the Spike is the same adventure found in the Beginner’s Box written by Amanda Hamon, adapted to Alexa Skills by James L. Sutter.  The Alexa Skills version includes music, sound effects, voice-overs and allows for multiple story paths.

Starfinder: Scoundrels in the Spike is a free pilot episode available now, in the US only here.

"Woah Woah Woah... Drizzt! Breanor! Cattie Brie! Whulfgar! And my favourite song of 2019, THIS LOOKS F***ING AWESOME!!"
