Focus Home Interactive have announced they are working on a video game adaptation of Games Workshop’s Mordheim: City of the Damned.

Mordheim was Games Workshop’s skirmish level fantasy wargame. Set in the titular city, also known as the City of the Damned, Mordheim saw player’s control small war bands fighting over precious wyrd stone in a city ravaged by a direct hit from a comet.

It’s a great week for collectible card game players as not only do we have the new and exciting Warhammer 40,000 LCG on the way but we also have news of a new release of the classic Deadlands card game in the form of Doomtown: Reloaded from AEG.

Warhammer 40,000 Conquest LCG has been officially announced by Fantasy Flight Games. Although only a rumour last week, the nature of the rumour meant that this was fairly likely to happen.

I jokingly mentioned on twitter a few weeks back that the next thing for the ‘attack wing system’ was a version of Games Workshop’s Battlefleet Gothic. I didn’t realise how unimaginative I was as the latest version of dog fighting game announced by Wizkids will be based on Dragons.

Original Story: Fantasy Flight Games accidentally teased the latest in their Living Card Game (LCG) format in the form of Warhammer 40,000 Conquest. I say teased because the site page for the new card game was quickly taken down but not before a few eagle eyed internet peeps took a screenshot.
Last week news leaked out that there was a Portal board game in development at Valve. At the time this was about all the news there was, so we didn’t report it as it would have been just a headline! However, this week Polygon.com has got their hands on the full scoop.
